‘BARNSTORM BIRMINGHAM,’ a Juneteenth
celebration at Rickwood Field centered around “Fam Jam”, a
celebrity softball game, launched by former All-Star pitcher CC Sabathia and UNINTERRUPTED co-founder Maverick Carter.
We were tasked with developing a complete visual refresh for “Fam Jam” that would live within the UNINTERRUPTED ecosystem. To bring Fam Jam to life, I used hand drawn illustrations
and a custom hand drawn font that drew inspiration from
the barnstorming era of baseball in the ‘40s & ‘50s.
These assets were then applied throught Rickwood Field and displayed across signage, jerseys, jumbotron and broadcast gfx, and social content.
